FRANCO GÓMEZ., O.Carm., Emanuel “Manu”

Biography:

Emanuel (“Manu”) Franco Gomez, O.Carm., serves as the Director of Youth Ministry for the Diocese of Tucson and works part-time as Chaplain at St. Augustine Catholic H.S., Tucson. In addition to his pastoral duties, he teaches theology at Catholic University. Fr. Manu holds a Master’s degree in Theology and an MFA with a major in Illustration.

In 2022, he founded the first JUCAR community in the United States. Fr. Manu is also an accomplished editorial illustrator, contributing to various Catholic publications.
