The Carmelites are proud and excited to share with you the appointment of the new President of Salpointe Catholic High School.

With the approval of the Salpointe Board of Members (The Carmelite Provincial Council) and in collaboration with the Salpointe Board of Directors, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Mahon Harris as Salpointe’s next President, effective July 1, 2025.

Many of you know Jen, who is a visionary Catholic school administrator and fund raiser who believes in the power of faith, education and philanthropy to transform lives. She has been the Director of Advancement at Salpointe since 2017, so you know how she thrives while working with others toward a common goal, based on a strong mission and strategic vision.

The Board of Members initiated this process last fall, in collaboration with the Board of Directors, and selected an eleven-person search committee to hire the next President. Ms. Lee Mathias, Human Resource Director, posted the position nationally, and Salpointe received applicants both locally and nationally. Seven applicants moved forward and eventually the process was down to two and the search committee recommended Jen to the Board of Members. The Board of Members officially appointed Jen on Monday, February 24, 2025.

We are grateful for your patience throughout this process, and I especially thank Ms. Kay Sullivan for her past 14 years of Leadership as the President. As we all know, she has done a tremendous job building a campus for the 21st Century. We also know Jen worked on the team with Kay over the past eight years while she has been the Director of Advancement. We are confident you will embrace and support Jen as your next Leader.
