Holy & Bold Carmelite Saints
October 16 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
What can a sixteenth-century Carmelite saint teach young adults about prayer, faith, and the interior life? Join the JUCAR Joliet young adult group for Holy & Bold Carmelite Saints, an evening with Fr. Tracy O’Sullivan, O.Carm., at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Joliet.
The gathering will take place on October 16, from 7–9 p.m. The evening will explore the spiritual wisdom of Saint Teresa of Avila:
October 16: Saint Teresa of Avila — Dwelling Places
Fr. Tracy has written and spoken extensively on Teresa of Avila and is a sought-after speaker for audiences young and old. These evenings offer young adults a special opportunity to hear him in a smaller setting, with space for a more personal presentation and conversation.
Whether you are familiar with Carmelite spirituality or encountering it for the first time, these gatherings offer an inviting introduction. Together, participants will explore Teresa’s spiritual vision and consider how her wisdom can speak to their own lives of faith.
The evening is also an opportunity to get to know JUCAR Joliet and connect with other young adults interested in growing in faith and community. Come with your questions, your curiosity, and an openness to discovering what Carmelite spirituality has to offer.
