The Spirituality of the Desert–Seeking and Finding
Friday, February 27, 2026 – 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Location:  Carmelite Spiritual Center; Darien, IL

“The wilderness will lead you to your heart where I speak.” (Hosea 2:14)

These words of the Prophet Hosea call us into a deep yet vulnerable relationship with God.  This prophesizes God’s promise to draw His people (us) back to Himself through a period of solitude and testing (the wilderness) to renew our relationship with tenderness, justice, and love, helping us reflect on finding God in desolate times.  Are you willing to be drawn in?

Chari Rosales, with her biblical knowledge, insights and wisdom will lead us in a Lenten reflection of how we respond to this powerful invitation of relationship, intimacy and presence.

Cost:  $20.00 – Coffee/Rolls included (optional lunch for an additional $15)

(Registration deadline is Wednesday, February 25, 2026)
