Fr. Frank devoted himself increasingly to a contemplative and eremitical vocation. He lived for extended periods as a hermit, particularly in Arizona, and was associated with Elias Desert House and the Zion Carmelite communities in Kansas, Maine, and Arizona. From 1976 -1978, he served as Co-Administrator at St. Boniface Parish in Scipio, Kansas.
Continuing his eremitical life in Arizona, he served since 2003 with the Zion Hermit Monks of Mount Carmel in Bowie. His life reflected a sustained commitment to prayer, solitude, and the contemplative dimension of the Carmelite charism. May he rest in peace.
