En la Biblia, el tema de la invitaci\u00f3n o la llamada se repite con frecuencia. Abraham es el primero, luego vienen Mois\u00e9s, David y los profetas. En el Nuevo Testamento son Pedro y los ap\u00f3stoles y, por \u00faltimo, Pablo.<\/div>\n<p> Todos formamos parte de ese grupo tan prestigioso en nuestras propias vidas. Estamos invitados al banquete nupcial. Todos somos invitados de honor con quienes Dios compartir\u00e1 el banquete celestial. Todo est\u00e1 listo. Por eso, es urgente que atendamos la invitaci\u00f3n de Dios y respondamos con corazones hambrientos ahora mismo. De lo contrario, nos encontraremos fuera, mirando desde fuera el banquete de nuestra salvaci\u00f3n. El mensaje del Evangelio de hoy es claro. La invitaci\u00f3n divina conlleva responsabilidades. El mensaje de la liturgia de hoy tambi\u00e9n nos interroga sobre nuestras actitudes y prejuicios aqu\u00ed y ahora.<\/p>\n<p>La invitaci\u00f3n de Jes\u00fas, al igual que su vida, es un acto de amor infinito, inconmensurable e incansable. El banquete que Jes\u00fas ofrece est\u00e1 abierto a todos en todo momento. Nuestra tarea es sencilla, pero profunda. Debemos reconocer que aceptar la invitaci\u00f3n exige el traje de boda que supone vivir seg\u00fan los valores del Evangelio. El traje de boda significa dar buenos frutos de reconciliaci\u00f3n, servicio, acogida al forastero y todas las exigencias del Evangelio. Estos buenos frutos garantizar\u00e1n al creyente un lugar en la mesa.<\/p>\n<p> El banquete supera todo lo que uno pueda imaginar. Nos espera a nuestra llegada. Nuestro asiento est\u00e1 reservado para la eternidad. La par\u00e1bola del traje de boda nos ayuda a comprender esta realidad. Cuando Dios nos llama \u2014y lo hace a menudo\u2014, debemos actuar.  Tenemos que aceptar el mensaje de Jes\u00fas. Queremos que nuestro \u2019s\u00ed\u00bb se exprese en una nueva forma de vida. El traje de boda es un testimonio del mensaje evang\u00e9lico. Las exigencias de la sabidur\u00eda de Jes\u00fas no se satisfacen con un esfuerzo simb\u00f3lico ni con el mero hecho de seguir a la multitud. Exige un cambio de coraz\u00f3n, una conversi\u00f3n que implica un cambio radical de valores. Nuestra invitaci\u00f3n es una llamada a alejarnos de los c\u00e1nones del mundo consumista para acercarnos al mensaje liberador del Evangelio. Se trata de una vida de sencillez y humildad. Es una llamada al servicio de los m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os entre nosotros.<\/p>\n<p>La parmenta de boda nos ense\u00f1a que no basta con limitarse a estar presente. Necesitamos un compromiso m\u00e1s profundo.  La realidad es que Dios nunca da por terminada su obra en nosotros.  Dios siempre quiere m\u00e1s. La vida cristiana nos pide que elijamos constantemente a Jes\u00fas, quien, de hecho, es el banquete nupcial.  La vida cristiana nunca se conforma con limitarse a seguir la rutina.<\/p>\n<p>Tenemos que esforzarnos por la reconciliaci\u00f3n para seguir perdonando, no solo siete veces, sino setenta veces siete.  Tenemos que escuchar el clamor de los pobres y el clamor de la tierra, no con un esfuerzo superficial, sino con verdadero sacrificio y generosidad.  Tenemos que estar abiertos a todos, no solo a nuestra parroquia o a nuestro grupo, sino tambi\u00e9n al forastero y a quienes son diferentes.<\/p>\n<p>Jes\u00fas lo dec\u00eda en serio cuando afirm\u00f3 que, si queremos salvar nuestra vida, tenemos que perderla. \u00a1Si queremos ser l\u00edderes, debemos ser siervos de todos! \u00c9l nos ofrece muchos m\u00e1s de estos cambios radicales en la realidad, que nos hacen ver las cosas al rev\u00e9s y desde dentro hacia fuera, y que nunca nos permiten olvidar ponernos el traje de boda tan necesario para el banquete nupcial. Todo esto es as\u00ed porque el amor de Dios no tiene l\u00edmites. Dios quiere que participemos en la plenitud del banquete de ese amor. Debemos morir sin descanso a nuestro amor propio.
