La purificaci\u00f3n del Templo agrava la ya intensa hostilidad entre Jes\u00fas y los l\u00edderes religiosos. El impacto de estos acontecimientos prepara el terreno para un conflicto a\u00fan m\u00e1s profundo. Con la par\u00e1bola de hoy sobre los dos hijos, Jes\u00fas no se anda con rodeos a la hora de avivar la tensi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Un punto importante que hay que recordar desde el principio es que el orden en que se plantea el desaf\u00edo a los dos hijos elimina un fuerte prejuicio arraigado a lo largo de los siglos, seg\u00fan el cual el pueblo de Israel es el primer hijo y la Iglesia, el segundo. Esto no es as\u00ed ni en esta par\u00e1bola ni en ninguna ense\u00f1anza cristiana aut\u00e9ntica. No es una cuesti\u00f3n de cronolog\u00eda. Lo que est\u00e1 en juego es algo m\u00e1s profundo y m\u00e1s permanente en la vida de un creyente: hacer la voluntad del Padre. <\/p>\n<p>Las actitudes opuestas de los dos hijos que se destacan en la par\u00e1bola de hoy ponen de manifiesto la contradicci\u00f3n entre el programa de los l\u00edderes y la misericordia universal del Dios revelado por Jes\u00fas. La afirmaci\u00f3n de Jes\u00fas de que los recaudadores de impuestos y las prostitutas entrar\u00edan en el reino antes que los sumos sacerdotes y los ancianos pretend\u00eda ser un desaf\u00edo para aquellos que se consideraban a s\u00ed mismos el pueblo elegido de Dios y, por lo tanto, los hijos e hijas predilectos. M\u00e1s adelante, esto se convertir\u00eda en una prueba para los jud\u00edos cristianos a la hora de aceptar a los gentiles en la Iglesia primitiva. No se puede negar que desempe\u00f1amos el papel de ambos hijos en diferentes momentos de nuestra vida. Nuestra lucha consiste en buscar constantemente la unitariedad de prop\u00f3sito. Necesitamos hacer que nuestro \u00abs\u00ed\u00bb a Dios sea m\u00e1s fiel y m\u00e1s decidido en nuestra vida cotidiana.<\/p>\n<p>La pregunta de Jes\u00fas:, <b>\u201c\u00bfCu\u00e1l de los dos cumpli\u00f3 la voluntad del padre?\u201d (Mt 21, 31)<\/b> Es un reto tanto para los oyentes como para nosotros. Nos pregunta: \u00bfcu\u00e1l de los dos hijos es verdaderamente justo? \u00bfCon qui\u00e9n nos identificamos?<\/p>\n<p>Una verdadera vida espiritual nos ayuda a afrontar el problema de la ambig\u00fcedad personal. La oraci\u00f3n abre los ojos del coraz\u00f3n a la experiencia del \u00abSabueso del Cielo\u00bb. Se trata de un hermoso poema que revela la gracia de Dios en su incansable b\u00fasqueda de nosotros, a pesar de nuestra resistencia constante a su llamada. El amor de Dios busca continuamente hacer que nuestro \u00abs\u00ed\u00bb sea cada vez m\u00e1s generoso y coherente. La oraci\u00f3n personal, fiel y comprometida, nos permite crecer gradualmente en la conciencia de nuestra ambig\u00fcedad personal. El amor maravilloso y misericordioso de Dios est\u00e1 siempre presente para nosotros, independientemente de las distracciones, los apegos o las ilusiones de nuestro coraz\u00f3n fracturado. Solo tenemos que aceptar nuestra pobreza, que nos permite responder a la llamada inagotable a una vida nueva. Este es nuestro \u00abs\u00ed\u00bb a Jes\u00fas. Esta es nuestra conversi\u00f3n. No es un acontecimiento puntual. Es un proceso continuo de lucha constante por ser fieles al compromiso de seguir los pasos de Jes\u00fas.<\/p>\n<p>Resulta especialmente oportuno que aprovechemos nuestra participaci\u00f3n semanal en la Eucarist\u00eda como un momento para renovar nuestro \u00abs\u00ed\u00bb a Dios para toda la semana. Nuestro encuentro semanal con Cristo en la Eucarist\u00eda nos prepara siempre para los momentos especiales y, a menudo, sorprendentes de gracia que nos esperan durante la semana.<\/p>\n<p>A medida que nos vamos conociendo a nosotros mismos, nos familiarizamos m\u00e1s con nuestra tendencia al autoenga\u00f1o. Nuestra mayor inclinaci\u00f3n es llegar a un compromiso c\u00f3modo en el que nuestro \u00abs\u00ed\u00bb sea lo m\u00ednimo para Dios y lo m\u00e1ximo para nosotros. A trav\u00e9s de la fidelidad a la oraci\u00f3n, aprendemos a conocer la geograf\u00eda del coraz\u00f3n humano. Aprendemos a identificar el gran abismo que existe entre la buena intenci\u00f3n en la mente y la realidad vivida. Aprendemos que cualquiera que decida cambiar su coraz\u00f3n para mejor ser\u00e1 bienvenido en el reino de Dios.<\/p>\n<p>Dios es paciente con nosotros, pero, al igual que los disc\u00edpulos, llega un momento en el que debemos caminar con Jes\u00fas hacia Jerusal\u00e9n. Es a trav\u00e9s de la fidelidad a la oraci\u00f3n como nos liberaremos de un coraz\u00f3n atribulado, atrapado en el enigma del compromiso o la autocomplacencia.
