The Carmelite Connection Program puts men who are interested in priesthood or religious life in touch with the resources they need to make a good life decision for themselves. Through the program you "connect" with others who may have the same questions, ideas and dreams that you have. The program will also "connect" you with a Carmelite priest or brother in your area who will help you discern your direction and introduce you to our spirituality and ministry. Are you interested in exploring what religious life offers to young men? We'll keep in touch regularly by mail. It may be a letter, an article, or a newsletter highlighting some information about the Carmelites, our ministries, something about our theology or formation programs, or some aspect of Carmelite spirituality. Just some things to think about! We come to you! You can remain at home, college, or current job. While you're there we'll put you in contact with Carmelites in your area. You will be invited to visit them and join them for prayers and meals. In addition to mailings and visits with Carmelites, we'll bring you together with others in your area who are part of the Carmelite Connection program. We'll invite you to join with them in a retreat experience. To be a part of the Carmelite Connection Program, just contact us. This is not a commitment on your part to join the Carmelites. There is a much more involved process for that. This is a way for you to learn more about religious life, the discernment process, and the Carmelites.
